Role of a Class Parent

Every class needs a class parent! Class parents are the primary link to all communication between the school's leadership, the PTA, the teacher and other parents in their class. They make sure that important information gets to the parent of every child. They also encourage other parents to volunteer at school events and fundraisers.

Responsibilities of a Class Parent

Class parents should be comfortable and proficient in use of email and be readily prepared to communicate to their fellow parents via telephone, e-mail and printed correspondence.
